Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Kirbyville Public Library is a nonprofit organization established in 1978 whose purpose is to support and expand the educational, cultural, and outreach programs of the Library.  The Friends work with library staff to build collections and stimulate community interest in the library.

The Friends of the Library meet on the last Monday in April and October at 7:00 PM at the library.  Called meetings are held throughout the year as well.

The Friends host a used Book Sale twice a year to raise funds and various other fund-raisers. 

A membership drive is held in January.

Friends membership is seperate from the library- you do not have to give or donate to use the library. 

Membership Dues:
Individual $3 per year
Family $10 per year
Business $25 per year
